How do I install Yani on iPhone or iPad?
- Open yani.im in Safari — Installation works from Safari on iOS.
- Tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen" — The share button is the square with the arrow at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Add — Yani appears on your home screen and opens full-screen, like any app.
How do I install Yani on Android?
- Open yani.im in Chrome — Most Android browsers that support installing web apps work the same way.
- Tap the menu (⋮), then "Add to Home screen" — Chrome may also show an Install banner — that works too.
- Confirm — Yani installs with its own icon and full-screen window.
How do I install Yani on my computer?
- Open yani.im in Chrome or Edge — Desktop install works in Chromium-based browsers.
- Click the install icon in the address bar — It looks like a monitor with a down arrow, at the end of the URL bar.
- Click Install — Yani gets its own window, dock/taskbar icon, and launches like a desktop app.

Not yet. Today Yani installs as a web app straight from your browser — same features, no store account needed. The apps Yani builds FOR you, though, can be submitted to the App Store and Google Play.
Does the installed app do everything the website does?
Yes. It is the same Yani — chat, builds, previews, and your workspace — in a full-screen window with its own icon.
Does Yani work on mobile browsers without installing?
Yes. yani.im works in any modern mobile browser. Installing just gives you a home-screen icon and a full-screen experience.
