What is Yani?

Yani is an AI agent that builds finished work from a chat message — full-stack websites, online stores, native mobile apps, slide decks, designs, and research reports. You describe what you want in plain English or Arabic; Yani plans the work, builds it with real tools inside its own secure workspace, and shows you the result to review.

How do I start my first build?

Open yani.im, type what you want in the composer, and send it. Yani drafts a plan — the pages, the features, the order of work — and builds while you watch, step by step on screen. Your first website is one conversation: describe the business, review the plan Yani proposes, and ask for changes the way you would ask a person.

Is Yani really free to start?

Yes. The free path runs on YaniLite, Yani’s free build engine, and starting does not require a credit card. When you outgrow it, paid plans add monthly credits and YaniMax — a build engine that spans several AI providers and switches between them automatically, so a big build keeps going when one provider hits its limit.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in plain English or Arabic; Yani writes the code, sets up the database and sign-in, and deploys the result. The code is still yours — export it in full whenever you like — but you never have to read a line of it to get a working product.

Does Yani work in Arabic?

Yes, completely. Yani’s own interface ships in Arabic and English, and you can describe your project in Arabic and get an Arabic, right-to-left website or app. Arabic here is not a translation layer added afterwards — the product was built bilingual from the start, for founders in the MENA region first and everywhere else too.

Builds & projects

Can I edit my project after the build finishes?

Yes. Ask for the change in the same chat — “make the header blue”, “add a booking page” — and Yani edits the existing project rather than starting over. Small edits run lighter than full builds, so they come back quicker. And every version is kept: if a change goes the wrong way, roll back to the version you liked.

Why does my build pause and ask for my approval?

Because you should agree with the plan before the work starts. Yani turns your request into a step-by-step plan — pages, features, order of work — and shows it to you first. Approve it and the build runs; ask for changes and Yani re-plans before touching anything. A minute of review saves an afternoon of rebuilding.

Can I start from a template instead of a blank prompt?

Yes. The community gallery is full of remixable templates — pick one and its source code lands in your workspace, ready to change. From there it behaves like any Yani project: chat your edits, swap the content for yours, connect your domain, and publish. Remixing is often the fastest first build.

Does Yani make mistakes?

Sometimes, yes — and we would rather say so plainly. Yani is an AI agent, and AI can get things wrong, so double-check important content like prices, claims, and legal text before you publish. The build shows you results step by step, which surfaces problems early, and version rollback means no mistake is permanent.

Can I go back to an earlier version of my project?

Yes. Yani keeps your project’s version history, so you can roll back to an earlier version when a change did not land the way you hoped. Between plan approval before a build and rollback after one, you are never more than a click away from a state of the project you trusted.

Billing & credits

What do credits actually pay for?

Credits meter the work Yani does for you — building, researching, running tasks on your behalf. A big build uses more than a small edit. Paid plans include a monthly allowance: 4,000 credits on Starter, a selectable 4,000–32,000 on Pro, and 40,000 on Enterprise. Keeping a production app hosted around the clock meters at about 2 credits per hour.

Do my credits refresh?

Yes. Every paid plan adds 300 refresh credits daily, on top of the monthly allowance. In practice that means a heavy build day does not leave you stranded — the next morning there are fresh credits waiting for edits, smaller tasks, and scheduled runs. The refresh is automatic; there is nothing to claim or configure.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Two options: upgrade to a larger allowance, or wait for the daily refresh — paid plans receive 300 fresh credits every day. Nothing is lost in the meantime: your projects, files, and history stay saved, and running out pauses new work rather than deleting anything. On light editing days, the daily refresh alone often covers you.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, at any time. Plans are billed monthly or annually (annual saves 17%), and cancelling never strands your work: full code export means anything Yani built remains yours to keep, host anywhere, or hand to a developer. We would rather earn the renewal than lock the door.

How much does hosting my live app cost?

Production hosting — your app live 24/7 on a permanent URL — meters at about 2 credits per hour from your plan’s allowance. There is no separate hosting bill and no surprise invoice: hosting draws from the same credits as everything else, and you can connect your own domain with DNS and SSL configured automatically.

Domains & publishing

Can I connect my own domain?

Yes, in one click. Tell Yani the domain you own and it configures DNS and SSL automatically — no records to copy across, no certificates to renew by hand. Your site answers on your domain over HTTPS, and until you connect one, the permanent Yani URL keeps working.

Does my project get a permanent URL?

Yes. Every published project gets a permanent URL the moment it goes live, so you can share the link before you have bought a domain or even settled on a name. Publish first, brand later — and when you do connect a custom domain, it is the same project, no rebuild needed.

Can I export my code?

Yes — all of it, anytime. Yani builds with real code: frontend, backend, and database, exported in full with no proprietary formats. Hand it to a developer, move it to another host, or keep building on top of it elsewhere. Your subscription pays for the building, not for holding your work hostage.

Can Yani put my app in the App Store or Google Play?

Yes. Yani builds native mobile apps and submits them through Expo’s build service to both the App Store and Google Play. Describe the app, review it on a phone-sized preview as it takes shape, then ship it to the stores — without hiring a mobile team or setting up a development environment.

Account & security

Where do my builds actually run?

Every session runs in its own isolated sandbox — a separate, contained computer environment created for that session’s work. Your build cannot reach anyone else’s project, and nobody else’s build can reach yours. When Yani installs software or runs scripts for you, it happens inside that box, not on shared ground.

Are my credentials and API keys safe?

Credentials and API keys you give Yani are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and traffic between you and Yani travels over TLS. Connected accounts live in your account panel, and access is scoped to your account — Yani reads and writes your data only. The full detail is on the Trust page.

How do I delete my data?

Start at the Trust page — yani.im/trust — which covers data handling and deletion in detail: what Yani stores, how it is protected, and how it is removed. Your data is scoped to your account throughout, so deletion has a clean answer: it is yours, tied to your account, and covered by the practices on that page.

Who can see my projects?

You, and anyone you deliberately share with — nobody by default. Projects are scoped to your account, share permissions let you invite a collaborator or a client when you choose to, and builds run in isolated per-session sandboxes, so work never mixes between accounts. Publishing makes only the published site public, not your workspace.
